Golden State Warriors player development coach Leandro Barbosa is accepting an offer to be an assistant coach for the Sacramento Kings under new bench boss Mike Brown, according to Shams Charania of The Athletic.

The 39-year-old Brazilian came into the NBA as the No. 28 pick in the 2003 draft. He was selected by the San Antonio Spurs, but his rights were acquired by the Phoenix Suns in a trade for a future protected first-round draft pick.
Barbosa spent 14 seasons in the NBA with the Suns, Toronto Raptors, Indiana Pacers, Boston Celtics, and Warriors.
The guard averaged 10.6 points, 2.0 rebounds, and 2.1 assists while shooting 45.9% from the field and 38.7% from the 3-point zone over 850 career games. He was named NBA Sixth Man of the Year in 2007.
