Following his cardiologist's claim that the head coach is in perfect condition to navigate any professional team, Pablo Laso reiterated the doctor's message by writing a couple of social media posts on Twitter.

"Happy to share with everyone that I have full confirmation from the doctors, who have treated me that I can train any basketball club professionally," the 54-year-old specialist tweeted.

"And also happy for all the attention and support I have received since yesterday. In a very short time, I will respond further to your interest," Laso added.

Real Madrid announced the dismissal of their long-term head coach on Monday. According to the official report, the decision was based exclusively on medical reasons ahead of it consulting with doctors and cardiology specialists.

However, just two hours before the official statement by the club, Laso received a medical discharge.

"You are in perfect condition to coach any professional team from now on," the chief of the cardiology section told him via Marca.

Pablo Laso was officially replaced by his long-time assistant Chus Mateo.

Laso's era at Real Madrid is marked by a total of 22 titles, including two Turkish Airlines EuroLeague trophies and six ACB championships.
