The same case happened with Fenerbahce Beko Istanbul, who had submitted a more lucrative offer to the player than the Reds.

Dorsey, 26, is expected to land a contract in the NBA with the Dallas Mavericks, with whom he had a private workout recently. Dallas still has an open roster spot for next season.

Olympiacos are now looking at former UNICS Kazan guard Isaiah Canaan, who finished the 2021-22 season with Galatasaray NEF Istanbul after making his EuroLeague debut with UNICS Kazan.

Dorsey would make his NBA comeback. He left the strongest basketball league worldwide in 2019, moving overseas to Tel Aviv Maccabi.

The 41st overall pick in the 2017 NBA Draft holds career averages of 6.7 points, 2.3 rebounds, and 1.3 assists over 104 appearances with the Atlanta Hawks (2017-19) and Memphis Grizzlies (2019).

During the last season, Dorsey averaged 12.8 points, 2.3 rebounds, 2.0 assists, and 10.3 PIR in 38 EuroLeague games for Olympiacos. His team reached the Final Four but lost both games against Anadolu Efes Istanbul and FC Barcelona respectively.
