All 60 teams that will compete in the Second Round of the FIBA Basketball World Cup 2023 Qualifiers are now known following the completion of the third window.
46 of the teams that have advanced to the Second Round also played in the Second Round of the FIBA Basketball World Cup 2019 Qualifiers.
Additionally, nine teams have made it to the Second Round for the first time after being eliminated from the First Round of the FIBA Basketball World Cup 2019 Qualifiers. Those teams are DR Congo and Guinea from the African Qualifiers; Belgium, Great Britain, Sweden, and Iceland from the European Qualifiers; India from the Asian Qualifiers; and Bahamas and Colombia from the Americas Qualifiers.
