The 25-year-old American guard arrived in Tel Aviv after a splendid season with Hapoel Haifa (18.5 points, 6.4 assists, 4.1 rebounds, and 25.8 PIR) signing a three-year (1+1+1) contract.

Evans averaged 8.2 points, 2.5 rebounds, 3.5 assists, and 10.2 PIR over 34 EuroLeague games last season.

He advanced to the EuroLeague playoffs but Maccabi had to bow down against Real Madrid in the best-of-five series, 0-3.

Prior to his stints in Israel, Evans began his professional career in the NBA G League with Grand Rapids and also played for Delaware before he first came to Europe with Igokea in 2019. He led the latter team to the Bosnia and Herzegovina championship in 2020.
