A couple of days ago, Barca officially announced that the club acquired ACB rights to Kalinic from Valencia Basket which was the main hurdle in penning a deal earlier.

Kalinic is the fourth addition to Sarunas Jasikevicius' team this off-season. Jan Vesely, Tomas Satoransky, and Oscar Da Silva joined the Spanish powerhouse prior to him.

The 30-year-old Serbian forward last played for Crvena Zvezda mts Belgrade where he averaged 12.6 points, 3.9 rebounds, and 3.4 assists for 11.7 PIR over 32 EuroLeague games.

His ABA League averages marked 11.3 points, 3.4 rebounds, and 3.3 assists in 23 appearances. Such stat line granted him the MVP award for the last regular season.

It's the second Kalinic stint in Spain. He represented Valencia during the 2020-21 season.
