Following the arrival of Nemanja Nedovic, Crvena Zvezda mts Belgrade continue bolstering their backcourt line. The Serbian powerhouse officially announced the addition of John Holland for the next season.

The 33-year-old American shooting guard is coming off a short but very successful stint with Frutti Extra Bursaspor. He joined the Turkish team in March after an uneventful stop in Kazan. He signed with UNICS in February but left the team before he could play any matches with the EuroLeague side due to the Russian invasion of Ukraine.

Holland averaged 11.4 points, 3.6 rebounds, 1.4 assists, and 12.1 PIR over 8 EuroCup games last season. He helped EuroCup sensation Bursa to advance to the grand final and finish second in the competition.

The 1.96-meter guard also played for UNICS in the 2020-21 season and made 43 appearances for the Russian club, registering 9.7 points and 1.8 assists.

Holland had a brief outing in the NBA with theCleveland Cavaliers in the 2017-18 campaign where he scored 2.2 points on average over 25 career matches.
