American guard Kevin Punter recently talked about his future and will to win titles with Partizan Belgrade in an interview with Novasports.gr.

The 29-year-old emphasized that he wants to win trophies with Partizan, and his goal is to try to reach the EuroLeague playoffs or maybe even the Final Four with the team.

"We didn't win anything last season. Our ultimate goal was to get a spot in the EuroLeague, and we achieved that," said Punter.

"A new chance is in front of Partizan and me, we want to leave a good impression," Punter continued. Especially since the team has not participated in the EuroLeague for many seasons."

"As for me, I want us to be competitive, work in the right way, and try to fight for something big," said Punter.

When asked about priorities between NBA and Partizan, Punter revealed his goal is always the NBA, but he's unlikely to go there next season.

"To be honest, I will most likely return to Partizan," said the guard.

"The NBA is always my number one goal, but I'm happy to be in Partizan," Punter added.

"I like the challenges we will face this year," said Punter, who has an NBA exit clause in his contract with Partizan.

When asked about the connection with coach Zeljko Obradovic, Punter had some big words for his head coach.

"It's incredible to play for this coach. I love playing for him," said the American guard.

"He is a big man. I like the way he trains. I love it and wouldn't trade it for anything. I'm happy to play for him," Punter concluded

Last season Punter in EuroCup averaged team-high 16.2 points, 2.8 rebounds, 2.1 assists, and 1 steal per game.
