The star duo of Danilo Gallinari and Nicolo Melli return to the NT after their last appearances at the Tokyo Olympics in the summer of 2021.

Italians will begin their preparation for a major international event on August 3.

Before the start of EuroBasket, Italy will play two FIBA World Cup Qualifiers matches in the Second Round with Ukraine on August 24 (away) and Georgia on August 27 (at home).

Italy will compete in EuroBasket Group C, where the team will meet Greece, Estonia, Ukraine, Great Britain, and Croatia.
