Chris Singleton is close to signing a contract with Crvena Zvezda mts Belgrade, according to Mozzart Sport.

The 32-year-old big man spent the last three seasons with the back-to-back EuroLeague champions Anadolu Efes Istanbul. However, both sides terminated their partnership on July 12.

Singleton averaged 3.9 points, 2.8 rebounds, and 4.1 PIR over 36 EuroLeague games last season.

He helped Anadolu Efes to win two straight EuroLeague titles (2021, 2022) as well as lift the Turkish league trophy in 2021.

The 18th overall pick of the 2011 NBA Draft started his professional career with the Washington Wizards before coming overseas in 2015-16. He holds NBA career averages of 4.1 points and 3.2 rebounds throughout 148 appearances.

Singleton's first stop in Europe was Lokomotiv Kuban Krasnodar. Then he shifted to Panathinaikos Athens (2016-18) and FC Barcelona (2018-19) prior to Turkey.
