Los Angeles Lakers superstar LeBron James spoke about his "win or bust" mentality that makes him care less about scoring titles or other personal accolades if he does not earn another NBA championship.

"There are times when I wish I was a tennis player or a golfer where it was literally like, 'Look in the mirror, motherf---er. It's you versus you,'" he continued.
"You can have guys that come from different clubs and different teams, and they've played losing basketball for years. You can have Jordan, Shaq, Allen Iverson, and Jesus Christ can be the coach - they're gonna lose. It's literally, like the culture."
Since joining the Los Angeles Lakers in 2018, LeBron James has won the NBA championship once (2020) and has missed the playoffs twice.
The four-time MVP and 18-time NBA All-Star averaged 30.3 points, 8.2 rebounds, and 6.2 assists, shooting close to an efficient 53% from the field last season. However, the Lakers were eliminated from playoff contention with a team that did not jell.
