John Wall recently signed a two-year $13.2 million deal with the Los Angeles Clippers, which means that the 31-year-old point guard will participate in the 'Battle of LA' as he joined one of the city's two NBA teams.

However, Wall has not played since April 23, 2021. The guard sat out last season as the Rockets were rebuilding and playing with young players.
Wall is excited about the new opportunity with the Clippers and awaits the Los Angeles derby.
"I think it's gonna be a great battle, and I think it's a great opportunity for me," Wall said, via San Luis Obispo.
"I think a lot of people get to see me play on TV, with Kawhi and those guys they have a lot of TV games, I love the stage," said the new Clippers addition.
"When the lights is bright, that's the best time to perform, so I’m excited for it," Wall concluded.
Wall last played for the Rockets in the 2020-21 season, when he averaged 20.6 points, 6.9 assists, 3.2 rebounds, and 1.1 steal in 40 games.
Wall spent his first 9 NBA career years with the Washington Wizards, who drafted him with the first overall pick in the 2010 NBA draft. In 2020 the point guard was traded to the Rockets.
