Panathinaikos OPAP Athens continue to strengthen its roster, and another signing should become official soon.

George Zakkas from SDNA reports that the Greens reached an agreement with Lithuanian forward Arturas Gudaitis.

The 29-year-old began the 2021-22 season with Zenit St Petersburg and averaged 6.7 points, 4.2 rebounds, and 8.6 PIR in 17 EuroLeague games.

However, after Russia began the war on Ukraine and EuroLeague suspended Russian teams, Gudaitis left Zenit and finished the season in Italy with Napoli.

He averaged 7.4 points and 5.3 rebounds in the Italian league.

In 2018-19, Gudaitis had a career season at Armani Milan, averaging 12.5 points (63.9% on 2-pointers and 80.5% on free throws) and 7.1 rebounds. The same year, however, he suffered an anterior cruciate ligament (ACL) rupture, resulting in him being sidelined for seven and a half months.

During the summer, Panathinaikos already signed Paris Lee, Nate Wolters, Andrew Andrews, Panagiotis Kalaitzakis, Marius Grigonis, Derrick Williams, and replaced head coach Georgios Vovoras with Dejan Radonjic.
