The Charlotte Hornets head coach Steve Clifford commented on what it means to run it back with the Hornets owner Michael Jordan.

On Adrian Wojnarowski of ESPN podcast, Clifford said that Jordan knows why you win and why you lose, therefore it's an advantage to work for him.

"I actually think it's a huge advantage to be working for him [Jordan]," said Clifford.

"Because he knows...he knows why you win and why you lose," added the Coach.

For the previous four seasons, Hornets were coached by James Borrego, but the franchise has decided to sign a well know head coach for them for the next season.

The 60-year-old Clifford coached Jordan's owned team for five years from 2013 to 2018, when he was the head coach for the first time in the NBA.

From 2001 to 2012 Clifford was an assistant coach in the NBA for several teams.

For the past three seasons, Clifford worked as Orlando Magic head coach and rejoined Jordan's owned team for the next season.
