"I still wish I didn't get it, to be honest with you," he admitted. "You have to do what you have to do."
Wiggins averaged 17.2 points, 4.5 rebounds, and 2.2 assists for the Warriors during the regular season, and was nominated to be an All-Star for the first time in his career.
If he didn't get vaccinated before the season, the player would have been in the same boat as Kyrie Irving, who was only able to play in a certain limited amount of games due to his vaccination status.
"I did it, and I was an All-Star this year and champion, so that was the good part, just not missing out on the year, the best year of my career," Wiggins said. "But for my body, I just don't like putting all that stuff in my body, so I didn't like that and I didn't like that it wasn't my choice. I didn't like that it was either get this or don't play."
