As previously reported, Bridges pleaded not guilty to three felony domestic violence charges during his arraignment Wednesday morning in Los Angeles County Superior Court.

The Hornets forward has been accused of assaulting his girlfriend in front of their two children last month.

Bridges was arrested on June 29th and released the next day on $130,000 bail.

The Hornets released a statement on Wednesday about the Bridges' situation.

"These are very serious charges that we will continue to monitor," the Hornets statement said. "As this is a legal matter, we will have no further comment at this time."

The 24-year-old has spent all of his four years in the NBA with the Hornets. He was selected number 12 overall in the 2018 NBA draft by the Los Angeles Clippers and then got his rights traded to the Hornets on the draft night.

Bridges just had the best season of his career. The 1.98-meters tall forward averaged 20.2 points, 7.0 rebounds, and 3.8 assists this past season.
