As noticed by ESPN, there is no active player that has played against the Kings in the NBA playoffs, which is mindblowing to think about.
The Kings acquired All-Star big man Domantas Sabonis in a trade with the Indiana Pacers last season and tries to build the team on his and De'Aaron Fox's duo.
Newly appointed head coach Mike Brown has also received another weapon to the squad, Keegan Murray, who went fourth in this year's NBA draft. The 21-year-old has already proved his worth by becoming the MVP of the Summer League.
Brown recently claimed that Sabonis and Fox are a "top-three combination in the league" and thinks they can gift Sacramento a long-awaited playoff berth.
"As a tandem in the pick and roll, they are very very good," he said. "Probably a top-three combination in the league right now, so that's a gift. With Fox's speed and Sabonis' ability to pass, it just gives you different ways to play the game of basketball.
I am a firm believer in paint touches and you get paint touches in a lot of ways, you put Sabonis in the post and he facilitates from there. Anytime you get a paint touch, you collapse the defense and can facilitate from there. You can also spread the floor out, tell Fox to get in that paint, finish or distribute. I am excited about those two guys doing a lot of different things offensively."
