AS Monaco have officially announced their sixth signing of the 2022 EuroLeague offseason.

According to the club's statement, former Anadolu Efes Istanbul forward Adrien Moerman is joining the team for one season with an option to extend the contract for an additional year.

"After 4 years in Turkey where I knew everything by winning the Euroleague twice in a row, I needed to set myself a new challenge," Moerman said following the signing. "Monaco met all the expectations I could have had. It's a club that wants to build well, and aim for the highest level."

In the last four years spent with Anadolu Efes, Moerman became an integral part of the club's championship runs. He averaged 8.4 points and 5.3 rebounds for 10.7 PIR for Anadolu Efes during the last season.

It was the first EuroLeague season for Monaco last year. The team managed to get to the quarterfinals where a heart-breaking loss to Olympiacos Piraeus stopped the dreams of making to the Final Four coming straight from the EuroCup.

The club has already signed an impressive list of players this summer with Elie Okobo, Jordan Loyd, Jaron Blossomgame, John Brown, and most recently Matthew Strazel joining the Monegasque team.
