Filip Petrusev has never hidden that his goal is to play in the NBA. However, he will still have to wait for it to become a reality. The Philadelphia 76ers who hold his rights definitely haven't forgotten him.

The 22-year-old Petrusev played four games in the 76ers jersey during this year's NBA Summer League, where he averaged 5.5 points, 2.3 rebounds, and 1.3 blocks in 12 minutes per game.
Following the Summer League, heavy.com spoke with an unnamed NBA scout from the Eastern Conference about Petrusev and his development.
Last season the Serbian center played for Anadolu Efes Istanbul and became the EuroLeague champion, but he had very little playing time for Ergin Ataman's coached team.
Now it's up to the talented 2.10-meters tall youngster to show that he can return to the level he was at with Mega Basket, and before that with Gonzaga.
"He overestimated himself in this moment," said the scout.
"He was good two years ago in Serbia, he thought he was ready for the NBA league, but the 76ers did not agree," the scout revealed.
"At this moment, he is not physically ready for the NBA league," the scout added.
Despite these statements, there is a belief that in the future Petrussev can be an NBA player.
"He has a great feeling for the game, he will be an NBA player," said the scout.
"Whenever you watch him, he stands out on the court, he finishes at the rim very well, he does a great job in pick-and-roll situations," the unnamed scout continued.
The scout revealed that the biggest issue is defense, however.
"The problem is in defense, but he will soon be part of the NBA," the scout concluded.
After two years at Gonzaga, Petrusev decided to enter the NBA draft. Philadelphia selected him in the second round with the 50th overall pick. However, he returned to Serbia, in the Mega Basket jersey and became the MVP of the ABA League before joining Anadolu Efes.
