"It's great news to see Yves join our project. He is a player we have been following for several years already. Yves is very athletic, strong, and has significant potential," said Gaetan Muller, Deputy Chairman of LDLC ASVEL.

The 23-year-old Tennessee product went undrafted in 2021 and split time between the Memphis Grizzlies and their G-League affiliate Memphis Hustle last season.

The 1.96-meter athletic Fench forward appeared in 12 NBA games averaging 1.1 points and 1.0 rebound over 5.9 minutes.

His G-League averages marked 9.2 points, 4.9 rebounds, and 1.1 assists throughout 9 matches.

Pons has been a member of the French national team in all youth categories and helped Les Bleus win a gold medal at the 2014 U16 European Championship.
