Semi Ojeleye confirmed BasketNews reports about his move to Virtus Segafredo Bologna.

"The journey continues! Next stop Italy. Jesus, keep walking with me," Ojeleye wrote on his Twitter account adding Virtus' hashtag.

Soon after, Virtus officially announced that the team penned a two-year contract with Semi Ojeleye.

The 27-year-old forward split time between the Milwaukee Bucks and Los Angeles Clippers last season. The Clippers waived him in March after averaging 4.1 points and 1.6 rebounds per game.

The American player, whose parents are from Nigeria, was drafted by the Boston Celtics in the 2017 NBA Draft with the 37th pick. He spent four years in Boston before shifting to reigning NBA champs Bucks.

Ojeleye holds NBA career averages of 3.4 points, 2.2 rebounds, and 0.4 assists over 284 matches.
