The 25-year-old Maker made headlines during the start of the 2021-22 season when he joined Hapoel Jerusalem. As a former NBA player, it was expected for Maker to be one of the main guys on the team. However, things did not work out quite as well.
The South Sudanese-Australian center only averaged 2.8 points, 3.5 rebounds, and 1.0 assist for a measle 1.6 PIR and was ultimately released by the club on December 13th.
Maker later joined an NBA G-League club Long Island Nets where he averaged 7.9 points and 6.5 rebounds in 21 matches.
Recently, he won FIBA Asia Cup with the Australian national team. Maker was the leader of the squad averaging 17.2 points, 8.8 rebounds, 2.3 assists, and 21.0 EFF.
