The team fell short against AfterShocks, 67-74 (19-12, 15-19, 23-26, 10-17).

Former EuroLeague athletes in the likes of Jarell Eddie, Michael Roll, Will Cherry, Sandy Cohen, and Angelo Coloiaro were part of the Gutter Cat Gang. The playing EuroLeague legend Kyle Hines highlighted the squad.

Milan's center scored 7 points in the contest, while Rice and Eddie contributed with 10 points apiece.

TBT is a 64-team, single-elimination tournament for a million dollars. Teams are split into 8 regions with 8 teams each. Those teams then play in a single-elimination bracket to narrow to contenders.

The winner of each region squares off in a quarterfinal showdown, followed by two semi-finals and the TBT 2022 Championship Game during Championship Weekend, July 29 – August 2.

At the end of the tournament, the sole remaining team takes the million-dollar prize. All it takes is to win six matches in a row.
