BasketNews were the first to report the news about an agreement.

"I'm a real playmaker who knows how to win games and who gives everything on the court every night," Winston told the official website of Bayern.

The previous two seasons the 24-year-old Winston spent with the Washington Wizards and in the NBA G League.

He showed up on the court in a total of 7 games with the Wizards last season and averaged 2.0 points and 1.0 assist per game.

Representing Wizards' affiliate Capital City Go-Go, Winston registered 13.4 points, 5.1 assists, and 2.9 rebounds.

The point guard was selected with the 53rd overall pick in the 2020 NBA draft by the Oklahoma City Thunder but was traded to the Wizards right after being drafted.
