The 32-year-old played last season in Melbourne. Over 27 games, he averaged 10.6 points, 3.1 rebounds, and 4.8 assists. Such stat line granted him a place in All-NBL Second Team.
His NBA stint includes turns with the Cleveland Cavaliers and Milwaukee Bucks, averaging 5.5 points, 1.8 rebounds and 3.7 assists per 20.3 minutes in 447 regular-season games.
Dellavedova won an NBA title with LeBron James and the Cleveland Cavaliers in 2016, his first of two stints in Cleveland. He also got his NBA start with the Cavs playing for coach Mike Brown, who is a new head coach of the Kings.
An undrafted guard out of Saint Mary's in 2013, Dellavedova caught on with the Cavaliers with his aggressive defense. The 1.93-meter (6 ft 4 in) Aussie spent eight seasons with the Cavs (2013-16, 2018-21) and Milwaukee Bucks (2016-18).
Dellavedova was on the Australian national team's roster for the Tokyo Olympics. The Boomers climbed on the winners' podium for the first time in history with a victory against Slovenia in the bronze-medal game.
