American guard Josh Adams signs with Cedevita Olimpija Ljubljana for the next season, the club has announced Saturday.

Cedevita will play in the EuroCup competition next season, which can lead the Slovenian team to the EuroLeague.

Last season Adams played for Tasmania JackJumpers in the Australian NBL, where he averaged 17.5 points, 3.4 rebounds, and 2 assists per game.

The 1.88-meters tall guard returns to Europe, as he has played for Avtodor Saratov (2016-17), where he started his professional career, as well as other European clubs: Anadolu Efes Istanbul (2017-18), Besiktas Istanbul (2018), Unicaja Malaga (2019-20), and Virtus Bologna (2020-21).

The 28-year-old has also tried his luck in the NBA G League in 2019 with the Toronto Raptors 905.

After the signing, the American gave a comment to the clubs' fans.

"I am grateful and excited to be a part of Cedevita Olympia. I can't wait to get to Ljubljana to meet my teammates and start the new season," said Adams.

"I'm thrilled to be a part of such a great organization with great fans and I can't wait to meet everyone. See you soon," added Adams.
