The 7-time NBA All-Star Kyrie Irving revealed that at a later age he wants to travel around the globe and participate in different leagues than the NBA.

The Brooklyn Nets star even gave a specific age when that could happen. Irving says he still plans to play basketball when he's 38 and that's the time he would transmit all the basketball knowledge he will have gathered to younger generations around the globe.

The 30-year-old recently responded to a tweet that said that he is 'gassing up' before the upcoming season.

"I don’t ever have to Gas myself up. I am going on my 12th year in the best league in the world and I am only getting better," Irving wrote.

"When I am 38 years old and have time to reflect on my career truly, I will do so, but until then, I am enjoying every moment," the 2016 NBA champion added.

In a follow-up tweet, Irving revealed his plans at the age of 38.

"And no I won’t be done playing basketball at 38 years old lol, I’ll be in leagues all over the world playing and teaching the youth all that was taught to me," Irving tweeted.

The 1.88-meters tall guard averaged 27.4 points, 5.8 assists, and 4.4 rebounds this past season, but missed a significant number of home games due to his unvaccinated status.
