The Partizan Belgrade big man Alen Smailagic in an interview with Mozzart Sport, revealed how he spends the summer and what he expects from the new season with Partizan.

The 21-year-old has also talked about his recovery from an injury, which required surgery.

"I started training three weeks ago. After the surgery, I got the green light from the doctor and that was a sign that I could start working as hard as possible," said Smailagic.

"I want to be as ready as possible for the start of preparations and the season, and that's the only way injuries will bypass us," added Smailagic.

When asked about next season's expectations, the Serbian forward did not shy away from talking about big goals.

"We are about to surprise! Let's make a boom this season. Let's not be modest...we want to try to aim for the final four or win it all," said the Serbian player.

The main difference compared to last season lies in a very important fact. The club from Humska returned to the EuroLeague. The Black and Whites are once again part of the elite, and as members of the highest quality competition, they don't want to play a supporting role.

"We aim to beat everyone, every game, of course sometimes a bad game happens, sometimes a better one, but I have no doubts about Zeljko [Obradovic]," said the 2.08-meters tall big man.

"He's [Obradovic] been in this for so long, he can educate us on anything. I have no doubts about the choice of players, the team, I know very well what he does," added Smailagic.
