The 29-year-old arrives from San Pablo Burgos, where he averaged 7.8 points, 5.7 rebounds, and 0.7 assists per game in the Spanish ACB last season.

Diez spent his entire career in Spain, where he also played for Lenovo Tenerife (2019-21), Unicaja Malaga (2015-19), and Real Madrid (2010-15), but during those 5 years, he was loaned for the Real Madrid B team and Gipuzkoa Basket.
