The Czech Republic Basketball Federation announced the list of 15 players called up for the EuroBasket 2022 and the upcoming FIBA World Cup 2023 qualifiers window.

The new members of FC Barcelona Tomas Satoransky and Jan Vesely are the most notable players alongside Oklahoma City Thunder's Vit Krejci.

The 22-year-old Krejci last season for the Thunder averaged 6.2 points, 3.4 rebounds, and 1.9 assists per game in 30 showings.

Krejci debuted for the senior national team in 2019 by competing in the FIBA World Cup Qualifiers, while Satoransky and Vesely have been regularly playing for the national team since 2009.

The Czech Republic besides EuroBasket will also compete in the second round of the 2023 FIBA World Cup European Qualifiers in late August, where they will play against France away and will host Hungary in Group K with the top three teams of the six-part pool clinching a spot in the 2023 FIBA World Cup.

EuroBasket 2022 will start on September 1. The Czech Republic will host Group D of the preliminary round of the upcoming EuroBasket, where they will face Poland, Serbia, the Netherlands, Finland, and Israel. Finishing in the top 4 of the group would extend the tournament to the knock-out stage, which will start on September 10 in Berlin, Germany.
