The Heat guard spoke about the difficult 2021-22 season and mentioned that he was plagued by personal issues that forced him to stay out of the team.
"When the time comes I will talk more about my issues. It was definitely something that... ate at me throughout the season," said Lowry.
"You have to be strong-minded," the Heat point guard said.
"It's life, life happens, but you just have to continue to get better and focus on the things you can control," added Lowry.
The veteran point guard missed several games in the middle of last season and the reports mentioned a family problem without revealing exactly what it was.
Last season, Lowry hasn't been the player he's been in years past, especially with the Toronto Raptors. Not only his averages in points went down, but the point guard also struggled to be efficient, shooting just 44% from the 2-point range.
