One of the most promising young Lithuanian players Dovydas Giedraitis will suit up for Zalgiris Kaunas in the upcoming season.

According to BasketNews sources, both sides agreed to a five-year contract.

Although the initial idea was to send the 21-year-old guard on loan, Giedraitis will join Zalgiris straightaway, sources tell BasketNews.

Two of his best games of the season in efficiency came out against Zalgiris and Rytas (21 EFF).

He made his EuroCup debut last season with Lietkabelis Panevezys, averaging 8.6 points, 1.6 rebounds, 1.7 assists, and 5.3 EFF.

Giedraitis reached his season-high 25 points against Metropolitans 92.
