For another summer, Kostas Sloukas strengthens the effort of the Greek national team for something big in the upcoming EuroBasket, but also in the World Cup qualifiers.

The Greek guard spoke to the EEC website about his role on the national team, mentioning that hard work is really important in order to achieve big goals in the upcoming EuroBasket.

When asked how feels about joining the national team for yet another summer, Sloukas said that the goal is to achieve something big.

"I am one of the oldest players of the National team, not only now but also in recent years. My role in the team is the same," said Sloukas.

"I always put myself under the national emblem to achieve something big," added the Olympiacos Piraeus guard.

While the Greek national team certainly doesn't lack talent, Sloukas acknowledges that bonding the team will help to succeed.

"Every year we start and say big words. The most important thing is to bond the team," added the guard.

"There is a lot of trust in the coach who is very experienced and accomplished, as well as in the whole staff," the Greek player continued.

"There is optimism, there is talent, but there is a lot of work ahead of us and we hope that along the way there will be the result we want," Sloukas concluded.
