Slovenian basketball fans have received delightful news ahead of EuroBasket 2022.

The Slovenian basketball federation officially announced that Goran Dragic, the captain of the team, is coming back to play in the tournament in September.

Dragic won the 2017 EuroBasket with Slovenia where he became the MVP of the tournament.

"He is the vocal leader. Also, a leader who leads by example. He always trains at full strength," Aleksander Sekulic, the head coach of the national team, said last week. "The others simply have to follow him. In the match, experience comes to the forefront. And, of course, the quality of his play. These are things that cannot be bought or created."

Earlier last month, Dragic signed a one-year deal with Chicago Bulls to remain in the NBA for one more season.
