The Portland Trail Blazers star Damian Lillard wants to help the young kids, as he sees that they are not hardened enough and are drawn away from their environment in a demanding league like the NBA.

The 6-time NBA All-Star in his basketball Formula Zero camp's press conference shared the goals of his camp.

If one asks about the NBA's most mentally resilient players, Damian Lillard's name can not be missing from the list.

One of the most clutch players in the league wants to see the young guys be just as resilient despite the odds and is trying to instill that mentality in his basketball camp.

The player who has a career intertwined with Portland talked about the difficulties these kids go through in their teenage years in this day and age.

"All these people... are hanging over them and putting them in a position where they feel entitled and their mindset is a bit confused about what they're going to be," said Lillard.

"They have to win things and take criticism at the same time," Blazers guard added.

Lillard believes that this mindset keeps them away from their goals.

"All this puts them in a difficult position and in the professional environment talent is not enough," Lillard explained.

"I want to help these kids, they have all these followers on Instagram, but I want to tell them that talent is not enough," the Blazers star concluded.
