In a meeting with the Brooklyn Nets owner Joe Tsai, NBA superstar Kevin Durant reiterated his trade request and informed Tsai that Tsai needs to choose between Durant or the pairing of general manager Sean Marks and coach Steve Nash, according to Shams Charania of The Athletic and Stadium.

33-year-old Durant stated he does not have faith in the team's direction, according to the same source.

Over a month ago Durant requested a trade and doesn't seem to have changed his mind since. The Nets superstar and Tsai spoke in London on Saturday. It's been a year since Durant agreed to a four-year, $198 million contract extension with the Nets.

Another superstar of the Nets, Kyrie Irving, who also wanted to leave the franchise, ultimately opted into his $36.5 million player option for next season, committing to the Nets for one more year.

12-time All-Star Durant, last season averaged 29.9 points, 7.4 rebounds, and 6.4 assists in 55 regular-season games, but the Nets were swept by the Boston Celtics in the first round of the Eastern Conference playoffs.
