Following convincing yesterday's win against Finland, Lithuania repeated the trend in tonight's game as well. NBA duo of Jonas Valanciunas and Domantas Sabonis dominated under the baskets and guided Lithuania to another comfortable 87-52 (29-9, 22-15, 16-8, 20-20) win over Finland in Vilnius.

Lithuania kicked off their highest gear right from the start. The Baltic country began the contest with a 25-1 push. Jonas Valanciunas scored 10 points and grabbed 6 rebounds in just the first 3.5 minutes of the game. Meanwhile, Finland made their first field goal with 1:40 left in the first quarter (25-3).

The hosts had a 27-point cushion (51-24) at halftime and that was more than enough to finish the game with ease.

Jonas Valanciunas led the scoring race for the Lithuanians with a double-double: 18 points (7/11 2PT, 0/1 3PT, 4/4 FT), 10 rebounds, 3 turnovers, and 2 steals over 17 minutes.

Domantas Sabonis aided his co-partner in the frontcourt with a near double-double. The Sacramento Kings big man had 10 points (4/7 2PT, 2/3 FT), 9 rebounds, 4 assists, 1 turnover, and 1 steal.

The Finnish national team was missing two important pieces to their team as NBAer Lauri Markkanen and sharpshooter Sasu Salin did not appear on the court with the coach's decision.

Lithuania will take on Spain on August 16 in the next preparation game while Finland will meet Ukraine on August 18.

Lithuania: Jonas Valanciunas 18 (10 REB), Domantas Sabonis 10 (9 REB), Kristupas Zemaitis 10.

Finland: Olivier Nkamhoua 12 (5 TO), Shawn Huff 7, Mikael Jantunen 7.
