Spain achieved sweet revenge against Greece in front of a sold-out crowd at WiZink Center in Madrid. The Milwaukee Bucks head coach Mike Budenholzer attended the duel as well.

Sergio Scariolo's team defeated the visitors 87-80 (22-21, 23-19, 22-21, 20-19) to grab their first preparation win.

Greece was missing their biggest star Giannis Antetokounmpo in tonight's match, who skipped the game due to knee soreness. The medical staff did not want to risk his health ahead of upcoming games.

Willy Hernangomez was the go-to guy for the Spaniards finishing the game with 23 points, 10 rebounds, and 27 EFF.

His brother, Juancho Hernangomez, posted a double-double as well: 10 points and 10 rebounds.

Dimitris Agravanis dropped 24 points and grabbed 4 rebounds for Greece. Nick Calathes posted an all-around performance with 8 points, 5 rebounds, and 8 assists.

Spain will host undefeated Lithuania in the next friendly game on August 16 in Gran Canaria, while Greece will welcome Poland on August 17 in Athens.

Spain: Willy Hernangomez 23 (10 REB), Jaime Pradilla 12, Juancho Hernangomez 10 (10 REB), Lorenzo Brown 8 (4 REB, 5 AST).

Greece: Dimitris Agravanis 24 (4 REB, 25 EFF), Tyler Dorsey 9, Nick Calathes 8 (5 REB, 8 AST), Ioannis Papapetrou 8 (4 REB).
