The presence of Giannis Antetokounmpo with the Greek national team in the Spanish capital Madrid did not go unnoticed by Vinicius Junior.

The Brazilian football superstar met the Greek Freak after the second friendly game between Greece and Spain.

Real Madrid winger Vini Jrdid not hide his admiration for Giannis and called him a "legend" on a Twitter post behind the meeting.

The two starring sportsmen exchanged jerseys and took a couple of photos. Three brothers: Giannis, Kostas, and Thanasis were captured with the reigning UEFA Champions League winner.

Giannis Antetokounmpo missed the latest game against Spain due to knee soreness. The medical staff did not want to risk his health ahead of the upcoming matches.

"Giannis had a swelling knee and discomfort in his ankle, so we did not take a risk. I think that after a couple of days off, which are necessary, he will be ready to play," said Greek NT coach Dimitris Itoudis.

Spain used the opportunity to achieve revenge over Greece in front of a sold-out crowd at WiZink Center in Madrid, winning the contest by 7 points (87-80).

The Milwaukee Bucks head coach Mike Budenholzer attended the Spain-Greece duel as well. He is expected to follow the Greek NT to Athens for the upcoming Acropolis tournament.
