Cedi Osman powers Turkey to blowout win against Poland / News - Basketnews.com

The Turkish national team blows out Poland in a friendly game in Istanbul with a final score of 94-78 (26-18, 21-18, 21-24, 26-18) behind an 18-point performance from Cedi Osman.

Osman scored 8 points in over the last 4 minutes of the third quarter to stabilize Turkey's position by giving a 10-point advantage with 10 seconds left in the third quarter.

In the fourth quarter, Turkey increased the lead mostly thanks to Furkan Korkmaz's performance. Yigitcan Saybir increased Turkey's lead to 21 points with a dunk with 4:03 left in the game to end any hope Poland still had in the game.

Poland managed to inch closer in the third quarter, and after Michal Sokolowski's 3-pointer trailed by just 5 points (51-46).

Turkey kept a safe distance in the first half already, and after Yigitcan Saybir's layup gained a 15-point lead (38-23) with 5:54 left in the first half.

Turkey already gained an 8-point advantage (18-10) in the first quarter after Onuralp Bitim's 3-pointer with 4:26 left in the quarter.

The Cleveland Cavaliers forward Cedi Osman led Turkey with 18 points (1/1 2PT, 4/6 3PT, 4/4 FT), 2 rebounds, and 2 assists.

For Poland Aleksander Balcerowski had 12 points (3/3 2PT, 1/1 3PT, 3/4 FT), 5 rebounds, and 3 assists.
