The Milwaukee Bucks superstar Giannis Antetokounmpo disturbed the basketball world on Sunday night when said that playing for the Chicago Bulls "down the line" is a possibility.

The 27-year-old two-time NBA MVP mentioned Michael Jordan and the Bulls' NBA championships as the main reasons he would consider joining the iconic franchise.

"I think anyone asked that question, who plays basketball, if he said no, he'd be a liar," Antetokounmpo told Fox 32 when asked if he'd consider signing with the Bulls when he can opt out of his contract.

"It's a team that won multiple championships, a team with one of the greatest players if not the greatest player to ever play this game.

It's a no-brainer, everybody would love to play for Chicago. Down the line, you never know. You never know how life brings it. Maybe I play for Chicago. But right now, I'm committed to Milwaukee," the Greek Freak said.

In December of 2020, Giannis signed a five-year, $228.2 million super-max extension with the Bucks. He will be under contract through the end of the 2024-25 season. He also has a player option for the 2025-26 campaign.

Giannis Antetokounmpo is an NBA champion with Milwaukee in 2021.

During the last regular season, the six-time All-Star was third in scoring at 29.9 points and seventh in rebounding with an 11.6 per-game average. He also registered 5.8 assists, 1.4 blocks, and 1.1 steals per match.

Antetokounmpo is now preparing for the major international competition - EuroBasket 2022 - with the Greek national team. Greece will play in Group C, where they will face Estonia, Ukraine, Great Britain, Italy, and Croatia. The competition starts on September 1.
