The new addition of Panathinaikos OPAP Athens, Arturas Gudaitis arrived in Athens on Tuesday, the same day as the team's new head coach, Dejan Radonic.

The Lithuanian center talked with the club's website and answered questions about his coexistence with another Panathinaikos center Georgios Papagiannis, as well as what he and his compatriot Marius Grigonis will bring to the team.

When asked about his coexistence with Papagiannis, Gudaitis believed that they will push each other to become better.

"We can make each other better in training with our passion and help each other to become better during the season," said Gudaitis.

Gudaitis had simple goals for himself and his team for the next season, even though he understands that expectations are high.

"I know where I've come, to a club with a huge history, probably the best in the last 20 years, and there are demands," said the Lithuanian center.

"I am very happy for the opportunity given to me and the goal is to win game by game and to get better every day," added Gudaitis.

"We have the players to achieve our goal. But right now it's all speculation. The coach must see us in practice, even for the style of the game it is too early to answer," continued Gudaitis.

When asked about his countryman Grigonis, who also signed with the team this summer, Gudaitis emphasized his own and Grigonis' passion for the game.

"We have a passion for basketball. We know why we are here. We know the history of the club and I repeat it but it is important," said Gudaitis.

"There are fans who bet a lot on the club and we have to give 100% every night because it is important to them," added the center.

"Grigonis is a terrific person first of all and a very talented player, who can create for the team or score himself," Gudaitis added.

The Lithuanian center also touched on Panathinaikos derbies with Olympiacos Piraeus, saying that it's a dream for every player to play in such games.

"Of course, the days of the derby are the best. Every player dreams of playing in such an atmosphere and you have to enjoy it," said Gudaitis.
