The New York Knicks and The Utah Jazz after several weeks of no talks re-engaged in trade talks centered on Donovan Mitchell, according to Shams Charania of The Athletic and Stadium.

According to the same source, the Knicks and the Jazz renewed the trade talks within the past week about potential packages for Mitchell. There are other teams considering trading for Mitchell, namely the Charlotte Hornets and the Washington Wizards.

Jazz might be looking to rebuild, but does not want to give up Mitchell if the price isn't right. The Jazz might be comfortable keeping Mitchell, due to him having three years remaining on his contract.

The 25-year-old has made three consecutive All-Star appearances and has averaged 23.9 points, 4.5 assists, and 4.2 rebounds over his five NBA seasons.

The Jazz have already made major roster changes this summer. French All-Star center Rudy Gobert was dealt to the Minnesota Timberwolves and Royce O’Neale to the Brooklyn Nets.
