With 35 seconds left in the game, Lorenzo Brown tied the game (76-76) with a floater, but then next possession Ignas Brazdeikis put Lithuania back on top (78-76) with 15 seconds left.

With 1:09 left in the final quarter, Lorenzo Brown hit a 3-pointer to reduce Lithuania's lead to 2 points (76-74) and keep Spain with a chance to win the game.

The entire fourth quarter was intense, with Lithuania leading by a few points for most of it. With 2:57 left in the quarter, Ignas Brazdeikis hit a 3-pointer to increase Lithuania's lead to 4 points (73-69), but 15 seconds later, Lorzeno Brown answered with a jump shot to reduce Lithuania's lead to 2 points (73-71).

Spain inched closer before the fourth quarter, and near the end of the third quarter after Joel Parra's 2-pointer reduced Lithuania's lead to just 2-points (55-53).

Lithuania had a strong start to the game and was leading by 15 points (19-4) already in the middle of the first quarter after Jonas Valanciunas' 4 consecutive points.
