The German forward Isaac Bonga returns to Europe after four seasons in the NBA to sign with the EuroLeague team FC Bayern Munich, sources tell BasketNews.

According to BasketNews sources, a 22-year-old had NBA interest but has reached an agreement with the German club.

Last season, the No. 39 pick of the 2018 NBA Draft averaged 0.8 points, 0.5 rebounds, 0.3 assists, and 0.5 steals in less than 5 minutes for the Toronto Raptors.

A versatile 2.03 m defender with point guard handles has been assigned to Toronto's G League affiliate Raptors 905, where he posted 13.2 points, 9.5 rebounds, 3.6 assists, 1.2 steals, and 0.8 blocks on average.

In seven G League Showcase games, Bonga averaged 19.9 points (3FG: 38.1%), 10.4 rebounds, 3.1 assists, 2.4 steals, and 0.9 blocks.

In 143 NBA games for the Los Angeles Lakers, Washington Wizards, and Raptors, Bonga averaged 3.1 points, 2.2 rebounds, and 0.8 assists per 13 minutes.

Bonga poured in 21 points and had eight rebounds in the 2023 FIBA World Cup Qualifiers vs. Estonia in June.

He won't be able to help Germany in the 2022 FIBA EuroBasket.
