The Greek Basketball Federation officially announced the last-minute issue for the national team, which will compete without Giannis Antetokounmpo in tonight's friendly match against Turkey.

The Milwaukee Bucks superstar will miss the last EuroBasket 2022 preparation contest due to back problems.

Greece faces Turkey at 20:00 CEST at the sold-out OAKA Arena in Athens, in the last match of the friendly Acropolis Tournament.

Giannis also skipped yesterday's game against Georgia. The Greek national team wanted to rest their front-runner.

On Wednesday, the first day of the tournament, Giannis Antetokounmpo led Greece with 24 points to a victory over Poland with a final score of 101-78.
