Ignas Brazdeikis had a team-high 16 points to guide Lithuania to a perfect 7-0 record in the EuroBasket 2022 preparation cycle, as the hosts defeated the Netherlands, 94-68.

Undefeated Lithuania finished the preparation cycle with a 7-0 record, beating the Netherlands in the last game at home, 94-68 (25-19, 23-22, 22-17, 24-10).

Prior to this match, Lithuania won two games each against Estonia, Finland, and Spain.

With friendly games finished, Lithuania and the Netherlands are set for the 2023 FIBA World Cup European Qualifiers. The Baltic country will play against Hungary and Montenegro on August 24 and August 27 accordingly. The Netherlands will meet Georgia and Spain on the exact same days.

Lithuania decided tonight's game outcome during the last quarter. They went on a massive 20-3 run to create a 26-point advantage (90-64).

Ignas Brazdeikis led the scoring race for the hosts, registering 16 points (2/4 2PT, 2/2 3PT, 6/6 FT), 2 assists, and 1 steal.

The NBA duo of Jonas Valanciunas and Domantas Sabonis aided the new Zalgiris Kaunas signing with 14 and 10 points respectively.
