Undefeated Germany got the third preparation victory, beating the Czech Republic, 101-90 (20-21, 36-23, 19-18, 26-28), in the friendly tournament in Hamburg (DBB Supercup 2022).

The loss was not the only blow for the visitors, as Tomas Satoransky suffered a right ankle injury. According to Gerard Sole, the new FC Barcelona signing twisted his ankle on a drive to the basket early in the third quarter. Following the setback, he left for the locker room.

Via the report, he will not play against Italy in the third-place game tomorrow. At this moment, there is no information on how serious the injury is.

Satoransky had 4 points, 2 rebounds, 4 assists, 3 turnovers, and 1 steal before exiting the court.

The Orlando Magic forward Franz Wagner led Germany with 26 points (6/11 2PT, 3/5 3PT, 5/5 FT) and 4 rebounds. Team captain Dennis Schroder aided his NBA colleague with 16 points (3/6 2PT, 1/5 3PT, 7/8 FT), 6 assists, and 5 rebounds.

According to German coach Gordon Herbert, Schroder is questionable for tomorrow's game against Serbia. The go-to guy for the German national team was substituted with a left ankle injury.

Germany will wrap up its friendly games against Serbia, which won the first Supercup semifinal over Italy.

Germany: Franz Wagner 26, Dennis Schroder 16 (6 REB, 5 REB), Maodo Lo 13, Johannes Thiemann 13, Johannes Voigtmann 10 (5 REB).

Czech Republic: Vojtech Hruban 21, Ondrej Balvin 13 (8 REB), Jaromir Bohacik 12.
