Dennis Schroder is not traveling to Sweden for the 2023 World Cup European Qualifiers and will undergo treatment in Germany, the German Basketball Federation officially announced after a last friendly game against Serbia.

Schroder missed the duel in Hamburg due to an ankle setback. The day before, he got injured playing against the Czech Republic.

As the Federation writes, Schroder will start practicing again on Wednesday (August 24) if things go well.

The Sweden-Germany game is scheduled for August 25, at 18:30 CEST. After this match, Germany will host Slovenia on August 28, at 15:00 CEST.
