FC Barcelona has reported that Tomas Satoransky will indeed miss the upcoming World Cup qualifiers matches with the Czech Republic national team due to an injury, however, his participation in the EuroBasket is still not ruled out.

Barcelona has reported that the point guard has a severe sprain in his right ankle, but might still recover for the EuroBasket 2022, which begins September 1.

It was previously reported that the leader of the Czech Republic national team will miss EuroBasket due to an injury suffered in Hamburg in a friendly match against Germany.

Before the EuroBasket, the Czechs will play two games in the 2023 FIBA World Cup Qualifiers. On August 24 they will face France on the road, and on August 27 Hungary at home. Satoransky is already ruled out of these two games.

In the upcoming EuroBasket 2022, the Czech Republic is in group D together with Serbia, Poland, Finland, Israel, and the Netherlands.
